After honoring its graduating players, the Muhlenberg women's basketball team rolled to a 67-36 win against McDaniel.

The Mules (13-11, 8-11) led 23-6 after one quarter and 30-8 three minutes into the second quarter en route to posting their largest margin of victory of the season. Every active player contributed to the scoring with a point and/or an assist, and Muhlenberg held the Green Terror (12-11, 7-11) to 20.3-percent shooting for the game. The Mules turned the ball over only 6 times and were whistled for only 4 fouls.

Junior Rachel Saxton came off the bench to score a game-high 15 points, adding 3 assists and 4 steals. Junior Emily Unger also scored in double figures, netting 11 points.

Ahead just 7-2 five minutes into the game, Muhlenberg erupted for 16 points on 7-of-9 shooting in the last five minutes of the opening quarter. Six of the points came on layups after steals, two by Saxton and one by senior Caroline Horst. The blitz also featured three-pointers by senior Abigail Scheidel and sophomore Mia Fitzgerald.

A 7-0 run early in the second quarter, capped by a three-point play by Saxton off a backdoor pass by sophomore Avery McNulty, gave the Mules a 30-8 advantage, and the game was never in doubt after that.

Prior to the game, Muhlenberg recognized its two seniors, Horst and Scheidel, as well as junior Jenna Stockfeder, who is graduating in three years. Stockfeder pulled down a game-high 7 rebounds to run her season total to 216, the most by a Mule in seven years.
