Men's Wrestling Blows Past Scranton

The Muhlenberg men's wrestling team won seven of the final eight bouts to defeat Scranton, 35-11.

The Muhlenberg men's wrestling team won seven of the final eight bouts to defeat Scranton, 35-11.

The Royals took an 8-0 lead by taking the first two bouts, but the Mules easily overcame the deficit by earning bonus points in six of their seven wins, recording three pins, two technical falls and a major decision.

Senior Fletcher Goodman began the comeback by pinning his opponent in the first period, and senior Ethan Kreuzburg (pictured above) capped the match by recording his first career win on a first-period pin. Junior Ben Krauss pinned his opponent in the second period.

Graduate student Joey Lamparelli scored the first of two consecutive technical falls at 125 - his 17th career tech.
