Led by a newcomer, the Muhlenberg men's golf team opened the spring season by coming in 12th place out of 17 teams at the McDaniel Spring Invitational.

Junior Joe Repetti, the 2023 Centennial Conference offensive player of the year in football, led the Mules with a 6-over par 78 in his collegiate golf debut. Repetti shot three birdies, on the 476-yard par-5 fifth hole, the 360-yard par-4 12th and the 534-yard par-5 15th. Repetti finished in 17th out of a total of 92 competitors in a tournament that was cut short due to rain.

Sophomore Charlie Kerprich was not far behind Repetti with an 8-over-par 80. Kerprich (pictured above) birdied both par-5 holes on the back nine, the 15th and the 540-yard 18th.

Sophomore Alex McCauley shot 87, which included birdies on the fifth and the 12th. Another newcomer, senior Owen Kovacs, shot an 88 in his debut, and senior Henry Stoer shot a 91 with a birdie on 15.
