The Muhlenberg men's lacrosse team was within a goal of sixth-ranked RensselaerĀ in the second half before eventually falling, 13-7.

The Mules (3-2) trailed 5-1 late in the first half before goals by senior Spencer Hallagan and sophomore Liam Ledwith in a span of 1:21 cut the deficit in half.

Senior Ben Falch scored a goal for the fourth straight game 2:17 into the second half to make it 5-4, but the Engineers (5-0) netted the next four goals, including two 13 seconds apart, to give themselves breathing room.

Ledwith scored a pair of goals; he has found the back of the net in every game this season. Sophomore Chase Kusko (pictured above) recorded a career-high 4 assists, giving him 10 for the year and 50 points for his career. He's the second Muhlenberg sophomore to reach 50 points this season.

Junior Jace Riley Day made a career-high 12 saves.
