Women's Lacrosse Shoots to Second Win

The Muhlenberg women's lacrosse team connected on its first 11 shots and breezed to a 21-7 win at Misericordia.

The Muhlenberg women's lacrosse team connected on its first 11 shots and breezed to a 21-7 win at Misericordia.

The Mules (2-0) conceded the first goal but responded with a flourish, netting seven goals in a span of just 4:43. It was 8-2 at the end of the first quarter and 13-4 at halftime.

Sophomore Emma Youngling (pictured above) scored a career-high 7 goals, finding the back of the net on all of her shots. Sophomore Alyssa Hartnett also had a perfect shooting game, netting a career-high 5 goals. 

Senior Emily Vaughan tied her career high of 5 points with 3 goals and 2 assists. She also controlled 5 draws to move into third place on the Mules' all-time list with 227 career draw controls. 

Junior Ava Milia also recorded a hat trick, scoring 3 goals, and junior Danielle Sautner dished out a career-best 4 assists.
