Muhlenberg senior Noel House was named Centennial Conference men's field athlete of the week.

House, the two-time defending CC champion, placed fifth in the javelin at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational with a regional-qualifying mark of 191-4. He came out of the flights in sixth place and moved up in the standings by uncorking his best throw in the first round of finals. Of the four athletes to finish ahead of House, two are from Division II and another is a two-time Division III national qualifier.

House's mark currently ranks ninth in the nation after the opening weekend of the outdoor campaign.
