Women's Lacrosse Rolls on Senior Day
The Muhlenberg women's lacrosse team scored seven first-quarter goals en route to a 20-7 Senior Day win against McDaniel.
With two games remaining in the regular season, the Mules (11-3, 4-3) are tied for fourth place in the Centennial Conference and can clinch a playoff berth with a win Wednesday at Ursinus. They also reached the 11-win mark for just the sixth time in program history, and the third straight season.
Prior to the game, Muhlenberg honored its four seniors, and one of the seniors - Jordyn Kushel - made her first career start and scored a goal on the Mules' second shot of the game.
Another senior, Nicole Steiner, netted 5 goals on only eight shots to move into third place on the Mules' all-time list with 161 for her career.
Senior Lily Seifert scored three goals and juniors Jillian Kubikowski and Emily Vaughan, sophomore Ava Milia and freshmen Rylee Hulack and Emma Youngling all scored a pair as Muhlenberg reached the 20-goal mark for the fourth time this season and for the first time in a CC game since 2019.
Kubikowski added 3 assists and Vaughan contributed 7 draw controls, a career-high 5 caused turnovers and 4 ground balls.
