Life Sports Center

General Usage: Masking is required, even during workouts, with the exception of when in the pool or when showering.

Currently the only LSC exercise reservations needed for the Fall 2021 semester will be for use of the Varsity Weight Room and Alumni Pool Open Swim. A reservation system is available to students, faculty and staff for use of the LSC -- found on your OneLogin.

What to Do Before You Come to the Life Sports Center

  • Complete the Self-Assessment in this App. If you are not feeling well or are experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19 please stay home.
  • Make a reservation for the Varsity Weight Room or Alumni Pool Open Swim if you plan to use these areas. This reservation cannot be made any earlier than 7am, 2 days before the preferred date/ time.
  • If you have not done so yet, you must first create your profile prior to being able to reserve time in the LSC. Once your profile has been created, you will be automatically directed to login through the Campus Portal to reserve your space.
  • A mask or face covering is required when indoors, including when using the weight room and cardio equipment. The only exception is when in the pool or when showering.
  • Participants should bring their own water bottles and the water fountain will be limited to filling water bottles.

What to Do When You Arrive at the Life Sports Center

  • Scan your Muhlenberg ID. No one is permitted to enter without ID.
  • Equipment and spaces have been modified to meet state and local social distancing measures. Please note various signage, floor markings, equipment modifications and respect these new measures.
  • Use hand sanitizer before entering and after leaving the gym.

Non-College Members & Guests

  • Non-College Members will be asked to show proof of vaccination status in order to gain entry and use of the facilities. Non-College members will have use of the exercise equipment, pool and access to the locker rooms.

    Non-College Members are spouses and dependents (under the age of 23), retired college employees, part-time semester appointment employees, employees including adjunct faculty and paid membership (Board of Directors, Alumni, School of Continuing Studies or Noon Hoopers).

  • Muhlenberg College employees, students, staff and Non-College Members are not permitted to register a guest to access the facility for exercise equipment or locker room access. Guest passes will NOT be issued until further notice.
  • General Visitors and Guests (campus tours, fans, vendors, etc.) to the LSC should be masked at all times. When visiting the LSC, you will be asked to review the Daily Self Assessment and should only visit campus if you are symptom-free and have had no known recent COVID-19 exposures.

Play Your Part

We are committed to doing everything we can to maintain a safe and healthy environment and we are relying on CDC and local health department guidelines. It is up to all of us to take responsibility in preventing the spread of COVID-19. Please play your part and remember some of these key points as you return to the LSC:

  • Stay home if you feel sick
  • Bring your own water bottle
  • Maintain appropriate social distance
  • Wipe down equipment before and after use
  • Wash or sanitize your hands frequently
