Women's Lacrosse Remains Spotless

The Muhlenberg women's lacrosse team ran its start to 5-0 with a 19-5 win against Wheaton in Hilton Head.

The Muhlenberg women's lacrosse team ran its start to 5-0 with a 19-5 win against Wheaton in Hilton Head.

The Mules led 11-3 at halftime, scoring their goals in bunches. They netted three goals in a span of 1:08 in the first quarter and four in span of 2:29 in the second. 

Muhlenberg added three goals in the first five minutes of the second half and rolled to its biggest margin of victory of the season.

Eleven different players scored goals, led by three with three apiece: senior Nicole Steiner, sophomore Ava Milia and freshman Rylee Hulack. Steiner's hat trick was the 23rd of her career, while Milia (pictured above) recorded her 11th. Hulack's three goals were the first of her career.

Junior Jillian Kubikowski contributed 2 goals and 2 assists, while freshman Emma Youngling also netted a pair. 

Junior co-captain Melissa Pierpont scored just the second goal of her career, while freshman Grace King put in her first to close out the Mules' scoring.
