The Muhlenberg men's soccer team opened up Centennial Conference play with a 0-0 tie against Johns Hopkins.

The Muhlenberg men's soccer team opened up Centennial Conference play with a 0-0 tie against Johns Hopkins.

The game was a rematch of the last two CC championship games, won by the Mules (in penalty kicks) in 2022 and the Blue Jays last year. The two teams have played four ties in their five meetings over the last three seasons.

Muhlenberg (4-2-2, 0-0-1) had its best chances to score late in the first half, including a hard shot by senior Abraham McWilliams that went just wide of the left post. The teams combined for only five shots, one on goal, in the second half.

Junior Ben Mulford, returning to play after missing the last five games due to injury, made 3 saves for his 17th career shutout.
