Women's Golf Competitive in Home Match

In its final match before the Centennial Conference Championships, the Muhlenberg women's golf team finished third out of six teams at its home invitational.

In its final match before the Centennial Conference Championships, the Muhlenberg women's golf team finished third out of six teams at its home invitational.

The Mules shot a season-low 436, knocking 25 strokes off their previous low.

Junior Kaylin Foss led the way, firing a 99 for the second time in three days to finish 11th in a field of 30 competitors. Foss parred the 150-yard par-3 16th to highlight her round. 

Junior Carly Kramer (pictured above) shot 101, including a birdie on the 451-yard par-5 11th hole.

Sophomore Katie McGrath (113) and junior Jenna Stockfeder (123) each recorded a birdie in their home invitational debut. McGrath had hers on the par-3 13th and Stockfeder on the par-3 16th hole. Stockfeder, who shot a 176 in her first round as a Mule, continued to show great improvement, shaving 35 strokes off her previous low.
