For the second straight year and the 11th time in its history, the Muhlenberg volleyball team earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award.
In order to receive the honor, a team must maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 during the recently completed academic year.
Five of the nine eligible Mule volleyball players qualified for the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll last fall, and one was named Muhlenberg's senior female scholar athlete of the year. The Mules also had a good season on the court, going 14-11 for their most wins in five years and earning a spot in the CC playoffs.
