The Muhlenberg men's lacrosse team could not solve Union's goalie in the first three quarters and suffered an 11-6 loss at home.

The Mules (3-3) put nine of their 13 shots in the first quarter on goal but did not get any past the 'keeper. One goal in the second and one in the third left Muhlenberg in too big of a hole to come back in the fourth despite putting in four goals.

The Garnet Chargers (1-3), who were ranked in the top 10 in Division III last year, came in winless but with their three losses by a total of five goals.

Sophomore Jack Bill scored half of Muhlenberg's goals for his 10th career hat trick, and sophomore Chase Kusko recorded 3 assists, becoming the 15th player in program with at least 25 goals and 25 assists in a career.

Junior Max Kunnath (pictured above) played the second half in goal and made a career-high 10 saves.

Junior Luke Schwartzberg returned from injury to record 6 ground balls, one short of his career high, and cause a pair of turnovers. Senior Brendan Lavarra caused 3 turnovers.
