Cross Country Battles Weather
The Muhlenberg cross country teams competed in the rain and mud at the Border Battle, at the site of next month's NCAA Metro Regional meet.
The meet consisted of teams from six of the 10 Division III regions.
As has been the case with every meet this fall, senior Caiti Kinnear and freshman Maggie Holderith were Muhlenberg's first and second finishers for the women. Junior Lauren House, freshman Ava Lundy and junior Hadley DeVarennes rounded out the Muhlenberg women's top five, with sophomore Julia Tassone (pictured above right) coming in sixth.
The young and continually improving men were once again led by an all-freshmen/sophomore top five as freshman Raam Ravishankar was Muhlenberg's top runner. Sophomore Matthew Hajel, freshmen David Seel (pictured above left) and Marc Sebastian Montalvo and sophomore David Ludwig rounded out the top five for the Mules.
The men finished 23rd out of 32 teams and the women finished 25th out of 34 teams.
