Ludwig's Huge PR Leads Cross Country

The Muhlenberg cross country teams competed for the third week in a row, racing at Lehigh's Paul Short Run.

One of the nation's largest cross country meets, the Paul Short Run featured teams from 25 different states, as far away as California, Utah and North Dakota. The course was very wet, muddy and surprisingly slow.

The conditions didn't prevent sophomore David Ludwig from turning in a huge personal best of 27:50.  He improved his previous best on Lehigh's course by 54 seconds, and he was the first Mule across the finish line for the first time in his career.

Freshman Raam Ravishankar for the third meet in a row was in Muhlenberg's top two, followed by junior Mason Tran, sophomore Matthew Hajel (pictured above left) and freshman David Seel in the top five.

Senior Caiti Kinnear (pictured above right) once again led the women for the fourth time in as many meets this season. Freshman Maggie Holderith and juniors Lauren House, Hadley DeVarennes and Ellen Maguire rounded out the Mules' top five.
